I'll answer a couple of questions:
To build the new workbench, go to menu>plans>other. You need a small amount of wood.
To get skill points, just do heaps of stuff around the island. With my main sim, I always had enough.
I have a question of my own though. How do you change the name of a sim? All my sims are named "Chris Newbie" and it's pretty annoying. [by: Guest]

you need 2 get all ten hiroglifics (spelled that wrong)then go 2 the buildin bench thingy and make a ancient stele then go insrect it again then yr sim will put it in thn waala yr in [by: Guest]

Where do you find hard wood because i look everywhere and i can't find? To get a boar you have to have body skill and then when they attack you you fight them and win and get pork to eat. [by: stemyjemy]
