Jackie: try 2 exit the path near vesta's farm
Uranus: befriend a villager 2 100 fp
Neptune: from start of game
Jet: go upstairs at the inner in stand at the top of the crate press a
Tep: above the inner inn is a stove stand in front and press a
Karaf: press a next 2 pond in your farm

2 get the fishing rod u need 2 walk 2 galen and ninas house witch is found across the bridge then strait down. enter the house at exactly 0.00pm. u will see galen and nina talkin about galens fishing rod. u enter and he gives it 2 u.

to marry the witch princess you have to kill a bunch of animals, try to leave the valley a bunch of times litter a bunch, pass out a bunch and bring a toadstool to that festival where you give an ingredient for 5 years. Plus you have to do all the usual requirements. So you really can't marry her before the 5th year.
PS if you do all the things to get her to like you other people will start hating you.

Okay well for the first cmment on how to get the fioshing rod.
You have to hae all you spaces for you tools and other stuff all 3 of them empty. Then walk on any given Saturday in the spring at 0:00. [by: russian_girl1995]

I got this game last year. I made it really far. I had alot of money and I had alot of crops and animals. I had alot of Sprites found and I was also really close to marrying Leia. Then... (of course) my friend wanted to play a new game and saved over my Diary 1. Now, I can't seem to get far at all. I am, at the moment, trying to get the fishing rod. I know Galen gives it to you and you need to visit him sometime between 12 and 1 but when I visit, he just say stuff like "Hi" and "We don't have much to offer".

[adding to Kate's comment] To unlock the shopping network you have buy items from the SuperMarket for 10 days straight. Then you must buy a table (any). Then on Gotz's list of renovations it will say house upgrade. I did this and now Im saving up for the kitchen

If you want to make money quick(it won't happen in the beginning of the game), you'll want the seed maker. make seeds out of any of the flowers, and use two seed packets for one 3X3 square. after they're grown you should have level 1 and 2 flowers. make seeds out of the level 2 flowers, use two packets per 3X3 square, get the flowers, you should now have level 1, 2, and 3 flowers. repeat until level one hundred. with the pinkcat flowers(summer), level 1 was 85G per flower, and level 2 was 350G per flower. you get a horse on the second spring in the game but you must work for it or takura will tell you "i was going to give you a horse but it seems to me that you havent been working hard enough. work harder and mabey next spring i will give you the horse" [by: gygiglogygiglo]
