How to fight Plooty and Rookie
To beat Plooty and Rookie (Rookie is really a brain-washed Bowser with a mask), here is what you have to do.
It may seem like a good idea at first, but don't attack Plooty directly. If you do Rookie(Bowser) is gonna get really mad
Always attack Rookie because he is way more dangerous than Plooty. Use alot of Bros. Attacks to beat him fast.
Don't let Plooty steal Mushrooms from you, or he'll give them to Rookie and it will take FOREVER (and both Mario and Luigi will be dead by then) to beat them. If the icons tell you to use your hammer to defend, he is going to steal from you, but don't let it happen.
Eventually, Rookie will say he is getting a flame in his gut and he will start breathing fire, but you can jump over the flames easy.
Once you beat Rookie, all you have to do is wait. Plooty will attack once and he will run away with Rookie. [by: bros]

Becom mini mario and have luigi jump and at the very last second have mario jump for extra coins. Note:This depletes luigis health [by: megamanx181]
If you want extra coins, make mario go in front of luigi. Then make luigi hit mario over the head with his hammer, mario should become small. Make luigi do the high jump on mario but before luigi can do it make mario jump. You will then recieve a coin. [by: Guest]
Beanstone Search

South of the Fashion Shop, there is an old man walking around. Talk to him
and he will explain his theory of the Beanstones, and how he wants to dig
them all up. There are 10 he wants you to find, and if you return them all,
he will give you something good. The trick to finding them is to have Mario
in small form walk around, and when he finds one, an exclamation mark will
appear above his head. The bigger the circle, the closer he is; at its
biggest, that means you're standing on the spot. At that point, resize Mario
and have Luigi pounded into the ground to recover the Beanstone. Check out
the list below to find them all:
1: In front of the south archway (western region).
2: Just south of the right pillar in the north archway (western region).
3: In front of the Fashion Shop (western region).
4: To the left of southwest building's entrance (western region).
5: To the right of the north archway (western region).
6: At the bottom of the large staircase (eastern region).
7: In the lower plateau in front of Information Shop (eastern region).
8: Atop the rightmost plateau in the south (eastern region).
9: On a ledge to the north of southeast building (eastern region).
10: To the left of west entrance to the long building (eastern region).
After you find everything, talk to that old man again. He will give you the
Bros. Rock badge as a reward.

In the east section of BeanBean castle town, talk to the guy by the information shop. he asks you if you would help him out, say yes. he wants you to find his five beanletsand will give you a gift if you do so. here are the five locations:
1: Behind the northwest building (western region).
2: Atop the long building (eastern region; High Jump to reach).
3: Atop the southeast building (western region; High Jump to reach).
4: In a northeast corner (eastern region).
5: Atop the northwest building (western region; High Jump to reach).
