i heard that you can get faramir by killing 100000 things with a single character, beating the game on grueling once, and getting all load game characters to lvl 52. this is not true however because you are only able to kill 65535 things. thats the max. if i amw rong though, someone tell me, maybe its my game or something, but i have verified this myself and so has a friend of mine.
i have also heard that you can unlock elrond somehow, if anyone knows how to do this please email me
also tell me everthing you know about blue lettered items: if there is a certain way to get them, if it has something to do with xp, or kills,
these are my character levels i have got in the past: legolas lvl.52 aragorn lvl. 47 gimli lvl. 52(its the best) eowyn lvl. 39 frodolvl. 52 gandalf lvl. 32 [by: Aaron]
52. and the max unaltered level(without equipment bonuses) for stats (like health, strength, etc) is 150 [by: Tresaure Hunter/Seeker, same thing]

to copy an item you have to make a copy of the file that has the item. Then you go onto the copied file and take it to a ranger hollow.
Place the item in and then SAVE. Go out and delete the copy. Resume playing on another file and pick up the item at the ranger hollow.
Its a good way to make cash [by: guy]

Huh, wow, lot more posts than expected. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that some content is unlockable via CG-GBA link only. As for the Defense lowering dmg. taken, that's probably it. Never thought of that, thanks. Last, yeah i was wondering if my game was funny, b/c a blue staff with gandalf wont allow me to use the light beam either. Blue items seem to offer large adv. , but at a cost, sometimes unnoticable (like no crit. hit %). Also, 2 things- why does every blue item sell for 278 gems, even if valuable. I can understand the sell-for-only-one-price mentality, but why 278? Is that something I messed in Tolkien's novels or something? and 2- Why have I found, at last count, 23, yes 23, Crystal Staff of Jas Mynn, but no Narsil, Glamdring or any of my most wanted ones? oh i forgot! i also found Starfell bow (quite different from Nightfell bow but people always get them confused)
and about the Defence stat it lessens the damage you recieve. each point block 1% of damage i think so if you have 100 defence all attacks to half damage to you * don't bother getting it up till later unless you have Frodo he needs it* [by: _blue item master_]
you can get fletcher kits and plantirs and stuffs but they are Red (pack items) like orc heads and orc drums.
__ to correct one of my posts you get at least one blue item every 2,500 ITEMS you find. this is where extra treasure comes in handy.
___ kinda cheat thingy for getting Frodo to level 52 easily get him to level 25-30 or just until you can kill Nazgul(ring wraiths) easily in easy mode then get as much -% corruption resistans to make the eye come easier and keep using "The One Ring" skill and kill the nazgul they give about 400exp each so leveling up is easy. make sure you are near a shrine to buy kingsfoil and a rangers hollow for ent water
*helm's deep after you kill all the orcs and stuff is good for this*
__ a Glitch
when you get a level up on level 50 you skip over level 51 and go to 52 you also get 2 skill points and 10 attribute points * this surprised me quite a lot when my legolas skipped level 50 and went to 52 but was good because i was dreading lv 51
___easy leveling with Gandy (my nickname for Gandalf)
find a sword that Gandalf can use with the prefix "Polished* this should give + 35% exp bonus
also get a non blue staff (for some reason gandalf can't use lightstrike with a blue staff. glitch of soem kind)
and get a robe or vestment or a Tabard(?) not sure if that is real or not.. never found one
and when you do all that equip all the items (DUH!) and use only lightstrike to fight (as the sword is fragile and will break if you swing it around)* breaking barrels and stumps doesn't seem to break "fragile items". this makes leveling up Gandalf much easier. also helps to get "Wise" up to make as it also give exp % bonuses

* Frodo is one of the best Treasure hunting Characters since he can wear 2 necklaces. try to get DArk Shappire ones (found only in hard+ modes)
they give +90% extra treasure! JOY!!

Pretty sure you cant get the Rings, but i read somewhere that theres exrta blue item content (i heard palintirs, and a bunch of other things like a fletching kit)unlockable by connecting the GBA to the Gamecube while both have their Return of the King games in. Can anyone verify this? Or is this just a mistake or hoax, cause it sounds suspicious to me... [by: Treasure Hunter]
I seem to find a LOT of some blue items, and i have found more than one with one character in a reasonably short amount of time.

Question: what exactly does defence stat DO? Ive looked and the stats dont really change. Oh, and one correction-The Unknown Amulet of Kempor is a necklace, amulet, whatever. It occupies that slot. [by: Treasure Hunter]
higher % extra treasure makes it come quicker then that but you will get at least 1 blue item every 2500 enemies killed * chieftains have a higher chance of giving blue items*
